Alexander West Foundation knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. This memorial scholarship was established in 2020 in honor of Alexander West, a devoted father. He was actively involved in furthering his education for the betterment of his life. Therefore, that is why we ultimately decided to launch the Alexander West Foundation.

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP?
Thank you for your inquiry. Our terms and conditions are as follows: at this time we are happy to accept applications from those who fall into the following category:
Single fathers and/or young men whose father is deceased, and are enrolled in post-secondary education.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?
All application materials should be mailed or emailed by July 31, 2024. That includes complete application, letter of recommendation, and unofficial transcript.
WHEN WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF SELECTED?
Applicants will receive notifications regarding their application no later than August 15th, 2024
HOW MUCH IS THE SCHOLARSHIP?
There will be one scholarship award of $1,000.00 paid directly to your school. Depending on funds, we may offer more scholarships.
CAN I APPLY EVERY YEAR?
Yes!
